Vapor Recovery Compression

 

Automated Wellhead Compression specializes in vapor recovery compression (VRU) on liquid-rich gases from crude oil production facilities. Capturing vapor gases that exhume from liquids production will turn the burden of emissions management into a revenue stream. Our packages feature a fully automated system driven with either an electric or gas motor. The systems feature a unique engineered suction vessel to knock-out heavy liquids entrained in the gas steam before entering the compressor to reduce oil degradation and reduce costs by increasing the preventative maintenance intervals. Our PLC controlled system reduces the amount of human-interface required via systems including: 1.) Auto By-Pass 2.) Auto Start/Stop and 3.) Auto Blow-Down. Additionally our VRUs communicate a live data stream to our in-house maintained server and allow live monitoring and control from any computer or hand held device. Remote Management.

Our VRU systems are controlled via IDEC PLC systems which communicate live data through a network of cell/satellite modems. The data is housed in our in-house server and communicated to the customer via desktop or cell phone application. In such SCADA capacity end users can view live compressor trending and remotely start/stop and operate units.
